Drifting Away

Frost sat starring into the graveyard. It was dangerous for her kind to be at a graveyard after dark since they couldn't see in the dark like Shifters or Shadows. But that was okay, she had her guns with her. She'd hear them before they had a chance to attack. Well for Shifters that would be it, but Shadows could disappear and appear from nowhere.

Frost sat back and sighed. "I guess I'm just drifting away. Letting the spirits of the death cry out not accepting their deaths." She closes her eyes. "But the wind sure does feel good. " She sits back up and leans against a tomb. "What's wrong with me. Am I reeally..." She stops. "No, I can't." She sighs again and leans against the tomb some more. "Oh well."

*Frost hears a voice*
"what are you doing in the graveyard after dark?"

Frost pulls her gun and aims at the position the voice comes from. "Who's there?"

"wrong way Frost"
*the voice says from behind her*

Frost turns around standing up. "What do you want?"

"to say hi"

"Shouldn't you be hanging with you buddies or something?" Frost puts the gun away. "I almst shot you."

"i noticed, and actually, i am hanging with my buddies"
*a bunch of ghosts come out*

Frost shakes her head and walks of. "Stupid Shadows."

"what, are you saying that ghosts can't be friends to people, by the way, this is my FAMILY"

Frost looks at Blaze. "I didn't say that. I just don't feel like putting up with a Shadow. I'll get in trouble for fooling around with you."

"do you have to only adress me as a shadow Frost?"

Frost turns to Blaze. "What is with you? What do you ant me to do...everytime I see you you want me to say. "Hey Blaze, how are you?"

"no, but still, i don't love being called a shadow around my family, they're not proud of me being a shadow, they think i should have been a rider, with my skills"

"Okay Blaze." Frost walks off.

*Blaze turns to his family*
"i have to go now, i'll see you tommorow night, bye"
*Blaze walks to his house*

Frost sits on a tomb. "Why can't I get over it." She looks at the stars.

*Blaze's mom walks up to Frost*
"what's wrong dear?"

Frost almost has a heartattack. "Um, I don't know. I'm struggling between loyalty and a friendship."

"aaaa, deary, personally, i had trouble with this to, my family kept telling me not to go out with who is now my husband, i loved them both very much, it was such a hard decision, eventually i figured out that family will always forgive you, but you can't hold onto friends forever, but that's what i decided, i'll let you make your own decision"

Frost lookd down. "But mt family won't forgive me. They'll probably kill me."

"then they're not real family"

Frost sighs. "Well I guess they're not." She stands up. "It was nice talkng to you but I have to get back to my people. I hope I know the right choice to make when the time comes. Bye."
