"Because he was not just any Rider. He was the strongest. Evene more powerful than the first. There has been no other like him. Not only that but if he finds out that they tried to kill me he'll kill them. I was appointed Leader right before he died."

"Yes. That week before they had a meeting and a feast. I think they tried to poison him. But it didn't kick in right away. Then that day you got into a fight with him had weakened him enough so that you vould kill him. Sure people cried but the tension in the air had lifted greatly once the news was out." She sighs again. "I have this strange ability to tell when the pressure gets thicker and when it eases and it scared me when it all of a sudden left."

Frost shivers. "I'm cold." She wraps her jacket around her. "But I don't know. Maybe it's just me, I mean sure the tension lifted but maybe it was because they were glad they didn't have to fear him."
